New Delhi: The country’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2023 Super Splendor XTEC BS6 Phase II in India. Dealerships have also started reaching the production units of the bike. The price of the new Super Splendor XTEC BS6 Phase II could be higher than its current model. It will compete with models like Honda Shine, TVS Raider and Bajaj CT 125X in the market.
What has changed
In this, LED headlamps and LED DRLs have been given as the biggest update. It gets 2-level LED headlamps with integrated low beam and high beam. This LED DRL is always on. That is, there is no need to start the engine for this. Also, halogen bulbs have been given in the turn indicators and tail lamps. At the front, along with the updated lighting, the headlamp cowl and visor have also been updated. Along with this, a big update has been seen in the form of a full digital instrument console. Most of the changes found in it are similar to the Splendor Plus XTEC variant.
How are the features?
In this, Bluetooth connectivity has been given in the digital speedometer as a feature. Users can see the call and SMS alert information on the spot by connecting the smartphone through it. Along with this, real time mileage and information about side stand, low fuel, high beam and i3S can be obtained. Also, a USB charging port and slim exhaust pipe have been given in it.
How is the engine?
The engine of Super Splendor XTEC BS6 Phase II has been kept the same as before. This bike gets a 124.7cc air-cooled engine, which generates maximum power of 10.7 bhp and torque of 10.6 Nm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. This engine supports E20 ethanol-blend fuel. The company has claimed to get more than 60 kmpl mileage in it.

This bike will compete with Honda Shine in the market. A 123.94cc engine is available in this bike. This bike is available in total 4 variants in the market. Its ex-showroom price starts from 78 thousand rupees.
