New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra has taken the wraps off its most popular SUV Mahindra Scorpio Classic. Its sale will start from 20 August 2022. It will come with two variants in the Indian market. These will include the base Classic S and Classic S 11. Let us know that Mahindra Scorpio Classic will go on sale with the recently launched Mahindra Scorpio-N.

At first glance, the new Scorpio Classic looks similar to the current model. However, Mahindra has given a new Twin Peaks logo with a new refreshed front grille. It gets a redesigned front bumper, which gets a new design for the fog lamps along with a silver skid plate.

The Scorpio Classic sports the same design as the 17-inch alloy wheels of the current Scorpio, but will now get a diamond cut finish. Mahindra has given dual-tone cladding in its doors. No changes have been made to the rear of the Scorpio Classic.

Mild changes have been made inside the car. It gets a new 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is now Android based and supports screen mirroring. Wooden interiors have been done in its dashboard and center console.

Mahindra Scorpio Classic will be available for sale in the Indian market in 7-seater and 9-seater options. In this, customers will get the option of three seating layout.

It has a new generation 2 mHawk 2.2 liter diesel engine, which will generate maximum power of 128 bhp and peak torque of 300 Nm. It has been given a 6-speed manual transmission. In this, customers will not get the option of petrol, auto or 4×4 version. The company claims that the NVH level of the new Scorpio Classic has been improved even more than before, which will give great ride quality to the customers. Talking about safety, it will get ABS and 2 airbags as standard.
