New Delhi: Hyundai India has launched the new-generation Tucson. Its starting Delhi ex-showroom price is Rs 27.7 lakh. In the Indian market, the 2022 Hyundai Tucson will have a direct and tough competition from cars like Jeep Compass and Citroen C5 Aircross. The pre-bookings for the new Tucson started from 18th July 2022. Customers can book it by paying a token amount of Rs 50,000. Actually, the company was supposed to launch it on 4 August 2022, but later its launch has been postponed to 10 August. Hyundai had already introduced its new Tucson. Many first-in-segment features have been given in this flagship SUV.

Performance
Customers will get two engine options in it, which includes a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit that generates 154 bhp power and 192 Nm torque. It is linked to a single 6-speed automatic gearbox. The other is a 2.0-litre diesel engine that churns out 184 Bhp of power and 416 Nm of torque, which is mated to an 8-speed automatic as standard. All wheel drive option is available in the Signature variant of its diesel engine.
Safety Features
New Hyundai Tucson Level 2 ADAS Functionality such as Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist for Padstrain, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Evidence Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Warning and Blind-Spot View Monitor comes along.

Voice assistant
It has more than 60 Hyundai BlueLink features. This includes Home-to-Car (H2C) with Alexa and Google Voice Assistant in Hindi and English.
Infotainment
It will get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Drive mode
It gets multi-terrain modes with select Normal, Eco, Sport and Smart as well as Snow, Mud and Sand for a better riding experience.
