New Delhi: The luxury and super bike maker BMW has launched a new version of its R 1250 RT touring motorcycle. It is an updated version of the brand’s already existing R 1200 RT model, which was discontinued in India a few years back. At the same time, the company had already started booking for the new model. At the same time, with the launch of R 1250 RT, the delivery of pre-booked units has also started.

2022 BMW R 1250 RT: Engine Power
As for the powertrain, the R 1250 RT is powered by a powerful 1,254cc boxer-twin, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. This engine is capable of generating 132.2bhp power at 7,750rpm and 143Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm. Let us know that special BMW Shiftcam technology has been used in this. With a fuel tank capacity of around 25 liters, the touring bike has a curb weight of 279 kg. At the same time, teleliver forks at the front and a monoshock suspension have been given at the rear with cast aluminum wheels.
2022 BMW R 1250 RT: Design
The biggest change has come in the design of the R 1250 RT bike as an update. BMW says it has become more aerodynamic than before. Also, a new full-LED headlamp has been given with some changes in the fairing. As for the design, the bike gets a luggage rack, pannier case, heated grips and seats and an adjustable windscreen.

2022 BMW R 1250 RT: Features
In the new updated R 1250 RT bike, you get to see many features in the form of electronic aids. This includes traction control, ABS, steering stabilizer, cruise control, hill hold control and multiple riding modes. A massive 10.25-inch color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity is also placed.
2022 BMW R 1250 RT: Price
The BMW motorcycle has been priced at Rs 23.95 lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, as rivals, it will compete with models like Ducati Multistrada 950, Honda Africa Twin, Kawasaki Ninja ZX 10R, Triumph Speed Triple 1200.
