New Nokia android smartphone to go on sale next week, more phones may unveil on February 26

The first Nokia Android smartphone from the brand's new owner was unveiled earlier this month. The new Nokia 6 smartphone will be going on sale next week in the country, the company said in a Facebook post.

Nokia are expected to announce a range of new smartphones this year, the company has licensed their mobile phone brand to HMD Global who are producing the new Nokia smartphones.

"More announcements to follow on February 26th", the post said.

To refresh, the new Nokia Smartphone features 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of on-board storage alongside microSD support, a 16-megapixel main camera, and a 3,000 mAh battery.  

The unibody Nokia 6 is built using 6000 series aluminum and its home button has an embedded fingerprint scanner. It packs a f/2.0 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection auto focus and dual-tone flash, as well as an 8-megapixel f/2.0 front camera for selfies. The smartphone also includes Dolby Atmos tech and ‘dual amplifiers' for louder sound.
