India's wholesale inflation up due to petrol, diesel

New Delhi, Sep 14: Wholesale inflation rises to 3.24% for the month of August from 1.88% for the month of July.

This is its fastest pace in last four months. Experts say that this is driven by higher prices of food an fuel.

Government data showed that Wholesale food prices in August rose 4.41% on year, compared with a 2.12% rise a month earlier.
