Finally, Vaghela's another tryst with politics begins

Gujarat: Former Congress leader Shankersinh Vaghela finally joins 'Jan Vikalp Morcha', a party formed by his supporters. Congress' former stalwart Shankarsinh Vaghela, whose rebellion had shaken Congress party had resigned a couple of months back as MLA and had insisted he will not join the BJP.
Vaghela, the Kshatriya strong man with pockets of influence in Gujarat had tendered his resignation to Assembly Speaker Ramanlal Vora. The presence of Rupani, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel and senior BJP ministers Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and Pradeepsinh Jadeja during this episode had triggered a fresh bout of speculation about his joining the saffron party. However, the 77-year-old leder's persistent refrain was he would not join any political. But as a veteran who had always played an important role in shaping the political designs on state as well as national level, it was just a matter of time, that he joined or floated a party.
