The video has gone viral to the extent that already 14 lakh people have watched it. Social media is saying that it is this chip that has resulted in seizure of huge amount of cash in Rs 2000 notes.
However, experts in the field of information Technology have termed the claim as bogus. Their contention is that the nano chip is effective only in extremely close range, and thus it cannot help locate cash even if one believes that there is a chip in the note. They also say that nobody can track nano chip signals if it is surrounded by thick layers r concrete. RBI and government have denied it too. But, it seems that the chip rumours have refused to die down since November 9.
