Nokia 6 revamped with increased RAM and more storage

Amazon India has now listed the Nokia 6 (2018) on its website as soon as HMD Global confirmed the 4GB RAM/64 GB storage variant of the smartphone for Indian markets. The e-commerce website has begun taking notification registrations and the smartphone will be sold from May 13. The company hasn't revealed the price yet but an unofficial seller has separately listed the smartphone at Rs. 19,999. Currently, the Nokia 6 (2018) 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage is sold at a price of Rs. 16,999.

This WhatsApp message will kill your smartphone

A bug is being forwarded via messages which when tapped, could send not just the WhatsApp Android app crashing but possibly even the entire Android device as well, the media reported. "As with any message bomb, it involves sending and receiving a specially crafted message with hidden symbols in between spaces. Tapping on a portion of the text will basically make the app 'expand' the hidden symbols, potentially overloading the app and even the OS," SlashGear reported on Sunday. Such messages or "message bombs" are not new and not limited to Android. Even iMessage is not immune to bugs that could send the app crashing.

Karbonn launches camera-centric budget smartphone at just Rs 6790

Domestic handset-maker Karbonn on Wednesday launched camera-centric smartphone "Frames S9" which is now available for Rs 6,790 on Flipkart, Amazon and retail mobile stores. The device has an 8MP+8MP dual front Twinfie camera setup and an 8MP rear camera with LED flash. It has several shooting modes, including Bokeh Mode, Soft Twinfie, Watermark, Group Twinfie (120-degree view), Voice capture, Panoramic view and Time-lapse.

Apple may replace iPhone X devices with FaceID issue

iPhone X owners who are facing problem with the FaceID unlock scanner may get a new device if their smartphone cannot be repaired, a report has claimed. According to a report in MacRumors, the Cupertino-based company "updated its service policy for a limited number of iPhone X units that might be experiencing issues with Face ID". The policy said that the support personnel must first try to fix the rear camera if Face ID problems are present. If the issue is not resolved, Apple would replace the whole unit instead of repairing the same device.
