Luxury automobile manufacturer Lexus India on Monday launched its flagship SUV "LX 570" priced at Rs 2.32 crore (ex-showroom).
Petrol prices are reaching the Rs 100-mark at a rapid pace. The rise is being fuelled by a surge in crude oil prices. Petrol has reached Rs 75.32 per litre in the national capital. With this, the price of petrol in Delhi inched further close to the previous high of Rs 76.06 a litre, reached in September 2013. In the other major cities of Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai also petrol was priced at multi-year highs on Thursday -- Rs 78.01, Rs 83.16 and Rs 78.16 per litre, respectively.
Toyota has entered the mid-sized sedan segment with Yaris. The manual transmission variants of the petrol powered Yaris are priced between Rs 8.75 lakh and Rs 12.85 lakh. Automatic variants are tagged between Rs 9.95 lakh and Rs 14.07 lakh (ex-showroom).
Ford India today launched new variants of its compact SUV EcoSport, priced between Rs 10.4 lakh and Rs 11.89 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). While the petrol version of Signature edition, which comes with sunroof, is priced at Rs 10.40 lakh, the diesel variant is tagged at Rs 10.99 lakh.
