Breaking: A chopper with 7 people on board goes missing off Mumbai coast

New Delhi, Jan 13: According to the latest reports pouring in a Pawan Hans helicopter with seven persons on board has suddenly gone missing. It took off from Mumbai's Juhu airport today.

According to media reports, the chopper was last in touch with the air traffic control around 10.30 am. Those on board were some senior officials of the Oil And Natural Gas Corporation or ONGC.

More details and developments are awaited and in the meantime the Coast Guard has been alerted and a search operation is on.

In the meantime according to the agency reports 2 ISVs have been deployed for patrol in area and have been diverted for search and rescue along with 3 Coast Guard units already in area.
