Imphal: Two militants, including a self-styled corporal have been arrested in Manipur, official sources said today.
A self-styled corporal of the banned People's Liberation Army identified as Th. Yumjao was arrested by security personnel from Sekmaijin area in Thoubal district yesterday, the sources said.
A 9 mm pistol and some rounds of ammunition were seized from him. Another militant of People's United Liberation Front identified as Alam Khan was arrested from Wangkhei area near here in Imphal East district yesterday.
Khan was allegedly involved in extortion. PTI
