Gurgaon: A four-year-old birthday girl fell into a 60-feet-deep borewell in Kho village of Manesar on Wednesday night. District administration has started rescue operation to bring her out. National Security Guard (NSG) team was also called to assist rescue work.
According to information, Mahi, 4-year-old baby has celebrated his birthday with his family members. She was playing with other children outside his house and reached near an open borewell. She slipped and fell into it, an eye witness said. Locals informed to the local police, who reached to spot and started rescue operation.
Meanwhile, fire and rescue service personnel started digging two parallel pits to bring the victim out. A senior fire service officer said the girl fell into the bore well around 11.30pm. Within half an hour, a rope was sent down to rescue her. However, she did not know how to make use of the rope.
The child responded to parents' queries on his well being for more than an hour. A team of health officials were on the spot and supplying oxygen through tubes from the ambulance vehicle. The shocked mother, fainted immediately prompting the fire rescue personnel nearby to administer her first aid.
Senior officials of District Administration camped on the sport since Wednesday night to look after the rescue operation. Meanwhile, a senior administrative official informed that they have also called NSG team to assist them in rescue operation.
