Why is it that always poor people have to compromise and face the consequences? Something familiar to this statement is currently happening in the state of Uttar Pradesh where Mayawati government is dominating. The flare began from Greater Noida where government was taking the farmer’s land at throw away prices for upcoming residential and commercial hub. Farmers were just demanding better compensation for the land acquired by the UP government since January 17th but government didn’t bowed.

So farmers had no choice but to take three roadways employees as hostages. After this the farmers, armed with sticks, retaliated and also started pelting stones. The police lobbed teargas shells to disperse the mob. Soon firing began from both ends. Clashes spread like fire raising the death toll of farmers to 4 and policemen to 2. Even as the administration tried to rescue the hostages, they somehow did, the SSP and the DM of that area were injured. Government is searching for Manveer Singh Tewatia, leader of KisanSangarshSamiti as he is believed to be the root of this clash.

Government also placed a cash prize of 50 grands on Tewatia’s capture. As the clashes are going on and lives are placed at verge, politicians are not missing their chance of hitting others. Opposition are calling Mayawati’s government as “Government of looters”. BJP is now throwing stones at the state government by saying-“If Mayawati’s government would have acted upon time and intervened in the matter, this would not have happened”. ‘A state of anarchy’ we can call it, is currently going on in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Is it going to end soon? Or there’s more blood coming in?
