An eating disorder is actually abnormal eating habits. If, timely, not identified, it can lead to disrupted sleep patterns, mood swings and create a void in personal relationships and social anxiety. Here are three indicators of an eating disorder:
* Alterations in Weight: Unusual or Rapid weight loss can be a reaction to an eating disorder, probably Anorexia Nervosa.
* Preoccupation with Body Image: Spending an obscene amount of time staring at the mirror, also making unusual comments about her physical appearance and insists that she is overweight. Wearing baggy clothing to hide her body.
* Disruptions in eating patterns: Develops strong dislikes towards towards previously enjoyed foods, too pre-occupied towards calorie counting and does not eat with family members.
