3 Dairy food substitutes

Whether it’s allergies, a vegan diet, taste aversion or an ailment, many people dont eat dairy products— milk directly from the cow. They are a great source of calcium, you need a good 3-4 servings of calcium daily. If you dislike dairy products, several different substititutes exist. Here are three of them:

* Green leafy vegetables such as broccoli, collards, kale, mustard greens, turnip greens, and bok choy or Chinese cabbage

* Salmon and sardines canned with their soft bones

* Almonds, Brazil nuts, sunflower seeds, tahini, and dried beans
